Waterfront Plans Submitted

After the success of the Brotherton House scheme in Leeds, Cunniff Design were delighted to be appointed again by Study Inn, this time to a site in Coventry. Working over the summer with Study Inn’s design team, and collaborating with Coventry Planning via video conference, Cunniff Design were able to unlock the historic pre-app discussions which had caused the project to stall. The scheme is to deliver 400 student beds plus a generous 25,000sqft of teaching space. The site is at the end of the Coventry Canal basin and the accommodation tower will form a bold marker at the end of the canal. The lower teaching blocks respond to the adjacent industrial heritage and are designed to reflect their character.
