Symons House Handover

After nearly 2 years on site, Symons House has now reach completion and has been handed over. Cunniff Design’s 22 storey tower for London & Scottish Student Housing was achieved planning approval in December 2017. The scheme comprises 350 beds, in a mixture of Studios and Clusters and 1 bed apartments, as well as Club Studios – a hybrid room type, like a larger cluster room with its own mini-kitchenette plus the benefit of shared living space within the cluster.

The scheme also maximises the site footprint, whilst pushing it at ground floor to provide relief from the pavement edge and gives a fully glazed frontage to the street.  The scheme showcases how we see design at Cunniffs – a simple idea, executed well and with confidence, using high quality materials.  A great team effort with RG Group.
