Jet2.com have been a tenant at The Mint – now called Holiday House – since 2013 and has been the company’s corporate HQ and sales centre. The bottom three floors became vacant in 2017 and Jet2 took possession of these to become the building's sole tenant.

Cunniff Design were appointed to design the fit out for these three vacant floors as well as re-modelling the existing upper five floors. The staff entrance and ground floor layouts were also re-designed to cater for building users and VIP guests in a more streamlined way.

Challenges

Delivering a fit out in a live, business-critical environment was the biggest challenge and we worked closely with the fit-out contractor Overbury, to phase and deliver the new spaces in a sensitive sequence without disrupting the operation of the building.

Workplace Analytics

We worked closely with Jet2 to analyse their existing desking layout and adjacencies of various teams within the business to re-plan and relocate teams to allow for better connectivity, and allow for expansion space so that the fit out would provide for predicted growth over the coming years.

"Having worked with Rob and Patrick on some key projects for Jet2.com, they have always provided an excellent service with a collaborative, friendly approach, backed up by great design and technical skills. Their timely response to architectural challenges has been greatly appreciated. I look forward to continued relationship with Cunniff Design over the coming years."
